Audrey Lingstuyl is a co-founder and Strategy Designer at Äther Studio.

In addition to working for clients, she is an independent Design Researcher who merges speculative design, semiotics, and artistic approaches to investigate contemporary phenomena linked to design practice and its impact on society.

She is currently based in Valencia, Spain.

Things That Keep Us Calm:
Designing Calm User Experiences through Unobtrusive Interactions

Research on multimodal artistic practices that can be applied in interaction design to create user experiences that evoke feelings of calmness.
This research involves developing semiotic analysis tools, interviewing artists and interaction designers, and obtaining data from academic journals and art catalogs.

Things That Keep Us Calm is a Doctoral thesis project for the Ph.D. in Art: Production and Research at Universitat Politècnica de València.
