ABOUT ME
For over 16 years, I’ve explored how design shapes human experience. My background in communications, semiotics, and interaction design has led me to specialize in experience design and research, with a strong focus on calm, attention, and mindful engagement.
Living and working across multiple cities worldwide has deepened my understanding of how culture, technology, and design influence behavior. My approach is rooted in design studies and strategic thinking, always aiming to create experiences that respect people’s mental space rather than overwhelm it.
Calm Design & Research
My work centers on rethinking design’s role in attention management. I explore how products, interfaces, and environments can promote clarity, focus, and well-being rather than contributing to digital noise and cognitive overload. My Ph.D. research investigated how material art practices could enhance interaction design to create calming user experiences.
I develop frameworks, methodologies, and strategies that help designers and organizations create more intentional, humane, and sustainable experiences. My work blends academic research with real-world applications, ensuring that the principles of Calm Design move beyond theory into practice.

Design Leadership & Collaboration
I have worked in creative agencies, startups, and in-house teams, as well as leading my own projects as a consultant and co-founder. For seven years, I co-led Äther Studio, where I developed design strategies for complex educational, artistic, and commercial projects. These experiences strengthened my ability to navigate uncertainty, synthesize complex ideas, and develop design strategies that drive real change.

Educator & Advocate for Thoughtful Design
I teach critical design and speculative design through workshops and seminars, using design thinking and foresight to tackle complex global challenges such as attention scarcity, environmental change, and digital well-being. My work often integrates playful, experimental methods to engage diverse audiences, from students to professionals.

Tech-Driven Wellness & Mindful Interaction
Technology and well-being should work together, not against each other. I am passionate about designing interfaces, systems, and tools that support human attention and cognitive health. In 2013, I co-founded Directorio Yoga and AVYoga, pioneering digital platforms that connected yoga communities in Argentina and Venezuela.
I bring this same human-centered, thoughtful approach to all my work—whether it’s designing digital experiences, shaping design education, or leading the movement for a calmer, more intentional future in design.
